About the Players
Jesse started playing the guitar aged 11 and studied at the Musicians Institute, London, where he studied Jazz and Popular music. Jesse has performed a series of concerts and recorded 3 albums with British Jazz luminary Mike Westbrook, performing at Jazz festivals in Europe and culminating in performances at Ronnie Scotts legendary jazz club. Jesse teaches guitar at several schools in Devon and is an in demand jazz guitarist in the Southwest.
Tom Ball has been playing jazz piano in a professional capacity since he was 15. His style is based on favourite pianists Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, Brad Mehldau and Jason Rebello but incorporates elements from many other great exponents of the instrument, as well as folk and classical influences from his musical upbringing.
Gary is widely regarded as one of the best and most sought after drummers in the South West of England and can be seen performing regularly with some of the top bands in the region. One of Gary’s top credits is that he was for many years the drummer for the famous Nick Ross Big Band.
