An introductory course for beginners and experienced alike who want to improve they’re drawing skills. Step by step tuition and top tips of how to construct a competent drawing using different mediums, pencil, graphite, ink, charcoal etc.

The course has been designed  by a number of  very experienced professional artists, university tutors and commercial artists who are specialists in different drawing techniques. 

Tutors include a number of well known local artists such as Tony Girardot and Chris Dart. This term we also have a new guest artist and tutor Steven Mahn.

Steven has received traditional training at various art schools and workshops in Florence, Germany, London and San Francisco. His drawing practices in nature, approaching sketches, compositions and mark making in variety of ways and mediums from oil paints to ink, charcoal and pencil.

Every session includes an A4 ‘aide-memoir’ to build into a ready reference folio.
