We’ve pulled all the stops to deliver the most exciting and the funniest comedy club in Somerset. We are throwing money at comedians (coins bruise them quite well) and the stage will be lit to show off the craziest and funniest performances you’ll ever see on the UK comedy circuit.

Bought to you by CICCIC and Genius Events (the people who bring you Stand Up for Cider) this bi-monthly comedy club will exercise your chuckle muscles and deliver a great night out at CICCIC’s amazing Memorial Hall.

You’ll get the chance to see several comedians on the night along with some amazing talent from known comedians who like to test their material at comedy clubs like ours before they take it to the Edinburgh Comedy Festival.

It will be unadulterated, full of surprise and have you laughing all the way through the weekend. So why not relax in comfort, enjoy a drink or three, while we take you on a few hours journey of forgetting your worries while you dose yourself in one of your 5-a-day things to do to make your life a happy one and that’s laughter. YOUR COMEDY LINEUP

MC & Comedian Stephanie Laing.

Stephanie started performing in April 2007 on the Scottish comedy circuit. She quickly established herself as one of the most promising acts of her generation on the circuit, and in 2015 appeared as a finalist in the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year competition.

Stephanie is best described as goofy and peculiar, and her comedy is partway between the needy oddness of Maria Bamford and the upbeat affability of Josie Long. Her material is a mix of silliness, filth and unusual observations, underpinned by a disarming honesty which makes her seem charmingly vulnerable.

Comedian Jay Droch 

Jay is a stand-up comedian and writer. He has played many stand up events including Glee Club opening for Guz Khan and BBC Asian Network Comedy Live. Hottest new Comedian on the block also runners up at the BBC Writers Room Future Talent awards.

Comedian Mike Keenan 

Mike is a Warrington based comedian who is Bold, Rude, Political and Clever… A joy to watch! Plus with his charming family man like presence he will capture life in the funniest ways. “Political Firebrand” Hilarity Bites. “Excellent. Highly recommended” Smacked Arse Comedy.

Matt’s act is a high energy mix of observational and personal stories with a dash of audience interaction and an improvisational edge. And having performed in many comedy clubs throughout the UK and the world you know you in the presence of a comedy master.
