Textiles: Co-hosted by tutors: Gary Mills & Joan Herrington.
Joan Herrington has over twenty-five years’ experience teaching Textiles and Fashion from students on further education courses, higher education level and latterly at adult education in private classes and workshops. Whilst initially she specialised in garment construction and pattern cutting, she found herself more and more drawn to textile and surface pattern design with a keen interest in hand stitching. Her work over the last ten years reflects this interest along with her love of old textiles and those from other cultures.
