Local hero Steve Keniston was a great supporter of live music, CICCIC, and the wider community, and touched the hearts of many people through his volunteering and encouragement of budding musicians. He was much loved and made friends with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Sadly, Steve passed away earlier in 2023, and having been a man that ran music clubs, open mic nights, was a musician and singer, and man of CICCIC’s music nights, it was one of his wishes to hold a music event to help raise funds for CICCIC.
With the help of his friends and family we are proud to present an evening of music dedicated to Steve with some of his favourite artists and songs. The Steve Keniston Tribute Concert.
You will not only get the chance to show your respects for Steve and his impact on our lives, but you will also get the chance to see 6 bands/artists perform some amazing music. Artists include:.
Nick Girone-Maddocks
Nick Girone-Maddocks has a long song writing back-catalogue, be it solo or with the seminal UK acoustic group Thunderbridge Bluegrass Band or Nick Girone-Maddocks & His Band, each spreads subject matter far and wide, humorous and deep-thinking too.
