Taunton Comedy Club is proud to be part of Somerset Comedy Festival and throughout the month of July we will providing amazing comedy stand-up gigs so you can experience some of the most laughter giving comedians on the comedy circuit. So, no need to go to Edinburgh to get the latest acts. It’s all here in Somerset with the Somerset Comedy Festival.

Late Comedy Show – James Dowdeswell – Beers Of A Clown
James headlines comedy clubs around the UK and is also highly sought after as an MC. His comedy is erudite, off the cuff and clean. He has worked all over the world from Shanghai to Slovakia, Malta to Melbourne.
After a series of sell out shows, Beer Buff James Dowdeswell, as seen on “Russell Howard’s Good News” and “Ricky Gervais’ Extras” is back home in Somerset, sharing his passion for the funny side of Beer.
James was born and brewed in a West Country pub. He is the author of “The Pub Manifesto: A Comedian Stands Up For Pubs” published by CAMRA.
