10.00am-3.00pm at Creative Innovation Centre CIC, Taunton.
What is it?
This workshop, supported and funded by Somerset West & Taunton council, is ideal for new and established creatives who are keen on researching grants and funding opportunities for creative projects. From theatre to music to community projects and more. There will also be a focus on working collaboratively with others to attract funding and will be presented in an informal way to encourage an open forum for all attendees.
You’ll also get a chance to work with potential projects, share ideas and network as well as find online resources for creative project funding.
Who is it for?
This workshop is only for Somerse West & Taunton district based artists, makers, theatres and creatives.
What you will go away with a clearer understanding of:
- what funding streams are out there for your project or idea
- how you too can access regular funding information
- learn some tips and tricks when applying for funding
You’ll also get the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.

With a passion for arts and culture, Andrew’s informal yet informative style of delivery will ensure you go away with positive outlook on the future.
What to bring
Please bring pen and paper. You may wish to bring a laptop or iPad but not essential.
Coffee/tea will be provided but do bring a packed lunch or you can pop into town during the 45 minute break for lunch.
