YOUR COMEDY LINEUP
Headliner – Raymond & Mr Timpkins
Lightning-fast choreography meets uber swift editing in a fantasmagorical collision of quality entertainment. An overload of velvet, sandals and multi-hued wool provides a startling accompaniment, the whole effect being that of a slim man and a fat man putting their bums in your face.
Headlining at venues from the Falklands to Ashby De La Zouch, they’ve circumnavigated the planet, spurting amusement in concentrated twenty-minute bursts.
If you like music and let’s face it, who doesn’t, you’ll like it. If you like silliness, middle aged men dancing and unsavoury acts, you’ll probably love it.
- “Ridiculous – quite bonkers funniness”
- “A runaway train of brazen daftness” – Voice Mag
- “A hell of a fine act” – The List
- “Absolutely hilarious” – Viz
- “A mad, anarchic triumph of stupidity over style. Not to be missed” – The Guardian
Middle Act – Edward Chapman
A retired Chartered Accountant turned comedian, Edward brings a unique blend of wit and life experience to the stage. From poking fun at his old corporate life to embracing his newfound personality as a vegan and environmentalist, his comedy is as sharp as it is refreshing. Expect clever observations and plenty of laughs from a man who’s mastered both numbers and punchlines!
Opening Act – Tom Little
Tom Little is an award-winning comedian. In 2015 he won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year (an award also won by acts such as Johnny Vegas, Jason Manford, Rhod Gilbert and Romesh Ranganathan) which he never stops banging on about. He was also a BBC Radio New Comedy Award finalist and his 2018 Edinburgh show was nominated for the Amused Moose Comedy Award. He plays the well-read fool, taking on hugely diverse facts, but refusing to deal with them conventionally, with a unique turn of phrase.
- ‘Inventive, unexpected and often very silly…. He surely can’t remain a hidden treasure for long.’ **** – Chortle
- ‘The real deal. An instinctive comedian with oodles of charm and a quirky, frenetic intensity…. If he cuts his energy levels by 10% he could end up in movies.’ – The Spectator
- ‘A huge talent.’ – The Scotsman
MC – Louise Leigh
Award-nominated Louise Leigh wanted to do comedy when she was sixteen, but it took her until her forties to get round to it. Now, she brings daftness, deftness and some brilliant physical comedy to top comedy clubs all over the country.
- “A naturally funny woman” (Chortle ★★★★)
- “Unique and Very relatable” (Entertainment Focus ★★★★)
- “Like the kind of Radio 2 DJ who’d be caught in the gossip columns… Brilliant.” The Wee Review (★★★★)
- “Louise’s crazy hair-brained way of looking at life is uplifting and positive.” Funny Women (★★★★)
