The exhibition presents work from across our whole membership and shows the wide range of styles, interests, techniques and skill levels in the club.
Taunton Camera Club is one of the premier clubs in the South West. It has been established for over fifty years and champions great photography across all genres. The Club is open to anyone who is interested in photography, whatever their skill level and however they take their photos.
We meet every Monday evening from the beginning of September until the end of May in a modern hall on the outskirts of Taunton, but also out and about on photoshoots and other gatherings. We run a varied programme of speakers, practical sessions, social evenings, internal critiques and professionally judged competitions – see the Programme page on our website for our next event. When possible, meetings are also streamed on zoom for those unable to attend in person.
The annual Membership fee is £70, which is the equivalent of about £2 per meeting (there are no door fees). We offer a discount for couples and for students.
The Club is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the Western Counties Photographic Federation. For those who wish to, we can support Members pursuing a distinction with any of the governing bodies.
Do come along one evening and see whether you’d like to join us, we’d love to see you.
