You may be aware that in May we launched a campaign about CICCIC’s Future at Risk, which was due to funding issues that go back to lockdown during COVID and the rise in utilities and cost of living.
Many of you made contributions by means of cash, time, and sending letters to the local council, which has helped considerably.
In June we were invited to apply for funding from Taunton Town Council and pleased to inform you that Taunton Town Council granted us funding, which means that our future is no longer at risk. We do, however, still need to raise £10k for the centre, which we will continue to do over the next 4 months.
We cannot thank Taunton Town Council enough for their support, and the many councillors who have worked hard in helping the whole council understand our contribution to Taunton’s arts and culture offer. Our contribution goes beyond CICCIC and Arts Hub that we operate and we look forward in working even header in recognition of the council’s support and the support from our customers and community. Rock on another 12 years!

We would like to thank all our supporters and those who gave generously, and the best thing you can do to support us in the future is to keep coming to our events, which we have several ‘Save CICCIC’ events coming up that have been kindly donated by bands and artists so hope you can attend these events.
We existed for 12 years and look forward in another 12 years with the council’s and community support.
