Club Kongo headliners are ‘The Hare and the Hoofe’ are a mash-up of ELO, Sparks and Pink Floyd and are the most bonkers and brilliant thing you’ll hear all year. Their eponymous double, concept album sent shivers up BBC Radio 6 Music’s Marc Riley’s spine, and the band have recorded two sessions for him. Expect primeval drums, fuzz bass, lashings of guitar and synth noises from another planet.

Main support tonight are ‘The Total Rejection’. A garage punk/pop-psych group, from Bristol. Mixing a love of the Pebbles LP’s series, Barracudas, Seeds, 13th Floor Elevators, The Who (65), Pretty Things, with a healthy dose of Spacemen 3. D.I.Y To the soul. Rock & Roll from the heart. Opening up tonight, originally from Brazil are ‘AlterModerns’ A rock-garage-blues-punk Bristol-based duo. Glauco Caruso (guitar/vocals) and Ananda Kuhn (drums/vocals) play a selection of ‘docufictional’ songs about how communication, travel and migration affect a way of life.

Our double DJ tag team are are back ! Yes, Spinout Nuggets record boss Lee Grimshaw who is back again with suitcase full of vintage 45s AND returning favourite ‘Swindon’s King of Surf’, DJ Luther ‘Big Dog’ Dixon. Right on!
